I am careful not to use the product too often because it is intense, but that in itself makes the product very valuable because it lasts a long time. I love my skin! Retinol product appears to be working as some mild peeling has occurred. I found it was far better to combine it with the Obagi Blender since it was more emollient that way. I am just starting the whole Obagi system and so far I am a happy customer.

Good retinol product
I only started using this product, but like it a lot already. I had been using a .5 strength retinol product and chose this because I like Obagi and wanted the benefits of a stronger formula. I was a little concerned that this 1.0 strength might be too strong for me, but it has been wonderful. No peeling or dryness at all. I will definitely stick with it.

I just received this 1.0 Obagi retinol. I was using another product but wanted to get back to using Obagi since I have found each and every item I use is always 5 plus star rating. It only takes a pea size plus I add a little nu derm blend and it goes on really smooth. I have been using Obagi for over 10 years and love it! My daughters tease me about all my "steps" but my 68 year old face speaks well for the product. My only complaint is about the difficulty in dispensing the cream! I always end up having to take the whole blue top off but I waste some of the product by doing it that way.

Not the same as Tretinoin
I have been using Obagi Nu-derm system for years with Tretinoin 0.1%. I bought this when I had a hard time finding the Tretinoin hoping this would work similarly. It is not near the same potency. If you are used the Tretinoin, this will be much milder and not produce the same effect. If Tretinoin is too hard on your skin, this is probably a good alternative.

I decided to try Obagi360 Retinol 1.0 as I had used several retin A products many years ago without any adverse reactions and the cheek lines were beginning to bother me. As I recently had developed some sensitivity I thought that the inclusion of a moisturizing cream would help with any reactions. I was correct. I used it every other night for a week and experiencing no problems am now using it every night. I put on a thin layer and then wait about 15 minutes and add another layer of moisturizer. Obagi Gentle Rejuvenation Skin Calming Cream which I have been using every night for over a year. After 2 months I can tell the difference in the small lines on my face. They are becoming fainter and the tone is improved. I only gave it 4 starts as I'm waiting to see how this works after three months which I feel is a fairer test. When applying I do cover my face completely with a thin layer. I don't skimp.

Love love love Obagi360 Retinol
I had been using a .5 retinol for 6 months and felt a big improvement, so I decided to step it up. One tube down (about 4 months). This stuff is fantastic. I used to always have 1-3 active pimples on my face. I usually don't have any now, 1 a month maybe. I still have some deep problems only I know are there and some scarring (can't afford microderm/facials/extractions right now), so it isn't a miracle, but it's been better for me than any prescription for retinoids were. Feel like my "parentheses" between my eyebrows & smile lines are shallower, too. It does cause a reaction with certain moisturizers, and I can't use it with my salicylic acid toner (I use that only in the morning). Still working out what I need to do to be less shiny, but I'll take it!
