This is good, but I prefer the neocutis brand. With either product, make sure you do not over apply, and start by doing it every other day, otherwise, your face will be a wreck! When done in the right proportions, retinol can do wonders for your skin.

I've used this for nearly 30 days. Started out every night, but after a few days, had slight redness, irritation, so switched to every other night. Worked just as well without irritation. Now after 3 weeks of every other night, I've tried 3 nights in a row. So far so good - mile redness to be expected but dissipates quickly. Seeing improvement in fine lines on forehead and marked improvement on lines above lip. Great consistency - you don't need a lot. Love the pump dispenser because the formula comes out conservatively but easily - no waste.

Good retinol
I feel this is a good retinol. Doesn’t dry skin too badly and works pretty well with brightening. I’ve since moved on to prescription tretinoin for better results but if that can’t be tolerated this is a good option. I also feel this is good to kind of get the skin ready to ease into tretinoin.

doesn't stand out against other Retinol creams
I decided to try the more expensive Obagi brand (over Oil of Olay) and see if it made a difference. After 3 weeks, I haven't noticed that it works any better than my drugstore brands. I've also tried a more expensive brand's Retinol and haven't noticed a difference between this and that one. It is gentle; hasn't bothered my skin at all - caused redness or dryness. No odor.
