Great concentrated formula so I use very little to get a great lather. Cleanses gently, yet removed product build-up on my fine color treated hair without stripping it. I think it hydrates?
I like the smell of this and also I feel that a little goes a long way. I am not sure how well it actually hydrates as sometimes my hair feels a bit dry and frizzy after using, but this might just be my hair type and the fact that I live in a humid climate. The ingredients are really good and I feel it is worth trying if you can get it on sale.

This pale purple shampoo is extremely lush and produces lots of bubbles! The reason it received a four star rather than a 5 star is that the bottle is rather small at 9 ounces is not the most cost effective. The smallness of the bottles is handy if you have a smaller over the shower rack as it fits extremely well.

Helping my dry color treated hair

I first tried this as a sample and was very impressed so I purchased some. Although at first my wavy curly silver hair responded well, but after a while it seemed to dry it out, so I switched back to my old hydrating shampoo for a while and now rotate the two. It has a nice scent that's not overpowering.

Great for thick natural silver hair.
I had bought into the hype that silver hair needed purple shampoo and was never happy with the fact that the color deposited seem to darken rather than brighten my natural silver thick hair. I switched to this Pureology shampoo and conditioner as my stylist daughter-in-law had recommended it. As I don’t use a lot of product I usually use only a quarter size pump and get amazing lather. I also love the smell and the fact that my hair feels so soft and manageable given that it’s thick head shoulder length and sometimes dry. I’ve haven’t experienced any yellowing and have no need to return to a purple shampoo. I highly recommend.
