This product was recommended by a family friend/hair stylist. I was hesitant at first because I have greasy hair that I have to wash every day. But after getting my hair done, I wanted a way to preserve the new color. This product does just that! The color has stated vibrated and my hair feels healthy and soft. It’s not any greasier than it was with my previous products. I can even go a few days without washing with some dry shampoo. I have used this shampoo for several years although, a few years back I believe they reformulated it. I did not notice a major change in the shampoo, just a very slight change. It is a very moisturizing shampoo, which I need for my dry, curly, hair. Both the shampoo and the conditioner in the hydrate line have a pepperminty type fragrance.
