Great for fine hair
I noticed that my hairdresser uses Pureology and I decided to buy it. I tried the regular one first, but then tried the hydrate sheer shampoo. I have always had baby fine hair, and as I have got older, my hair has become dry (maybe also due to the fact that it is dyed). This shampoo is excellent. The best I can explain it is that it is "light" and doesn't dry out my hair. I use the conditioner also -- they are a great pair.

My new favorite shampoo
I have fine, medium length blonde hair and no matter how hard I try to skip days between shampoos, I just have to wash my hair everyday. I can't stand the oily feeling of my scalp if I don't shampoo everyday--and I've tried every dry shampoo on the market for in-between washes. This shampoo makes my hair and scalp feel clean while not drying out my hair or weighing my hair down. It is very concentrated so you just need a tiny bit. It also smells invigorating--like a eucalyptus/menthol--not like perfume/cologne scent like many others.

I absolutely love the whole Pureology line! I have been using the hydrate sheer shampoo & conditioner for the last 3 years and my hair is in the best shape it’s ever been. My hairstylist always compliments me when I see her about how good my hair feels and no split ends. I use it religiously every day and I love the smell of it too. It also does not weigh your hair down. You don’t have to use a whole lot either, a little really goes a long way. I would highly recommend Pureology and I have to many friends and family already.

Shampoo not as wonderful as the conditioner
I have been using Pureology Hydrate Conditioner for years but found it was weighing down my aging hair a bit more than I wanted. I discovered that they were not making a Hydrate Sheer formula so I thought I would give it a try. It works well but I have always found that I can use almost any mild shampoo (doesn't necessarily have to be Pureology) along with my Hydrate conditioner. I think I still prefer the regular Hydrate to the Sheer Hydrate formula but either way, I don't think it's necessary to use their shampoo. Pureology conditioners are awesome once you find the formula that best suits your hair type; the shampoos tend to be fairly mediocre.

Best for very fine, straight hair
This is my go-to shampoo for my fine, straight, flat, colored hair. It really does give it body and bounce, volume and manageability without weighing it down. I use it with the matching conditioner but also trade off with the Smooth Perfection conditioner and the Gold one also. My color stays so much longer and does not get brassy or orange. Best product for my hair ever. And I've tried literally hundreds over the years.

I have been using Pureology Hydrating Sheer Shampoo for a while now and I honestly cannot find a better hydrating shampoo. This shampoo does not weigh my long hair down. I also love the fact that it has a very, very light scent which does not linger. Leaves my hair shiny and clean until my next shampoo. Easy on my color treated hair and I love the fact that it is sulfate free. There’s nothing better!

My go to shampoo
This shampoo is great and adds lots of moisture to your hair. I have curly hair and this is perfect for me. You need very little of it and it lathers well and smells great. The conditioner that you can buy to go with this is awesome too and smells even better. Use sparingly. A little goes a long way.
