A Cheaper Alternative to the SilyMarin CF
I am a long-time fan of SkinCeutical's SilyMarin CF Serum, though it is definitely a splurge. I saw that this serum was significantly cheaper and also had Salicylic Acid, which my oily acne-prone skin desperately needs. After using this serum for about 3 months, I can say that I still prefer the SilyMarin CF over this, as I feel the SilyMarin worked better on healing my cystic acne and lightening my hyperpigmentation in a shorter amount of time. However, this serum works well under make-up and does not irritate my skin, though it does leave a bit of a slight burning sensation after application.

The absolute best in skin care
This is liquid gold. I have been using this light serum before make up and before bed. I'm in my 50's and sometimes I get a breakout from stress and as soon as I feel it coming on I use it and it is gone. My son is another fan, he's 19 and breaks out sometimes pretty bad as he's an athlete. Hands down the best product in the market...

Banishes blemishes over a night or two.
This product works but it is EXTREMELY drying on the skin. I reserve it for occasional use. I'm hoping it didn't cause or contribute to my facial eczema, which at age 67, have never experienced until using this product (but I admit it could be coincidental with the overly dry air we had in Minnesota this year and my skin -- which I am told tends to become thin with age).

Corrector serum that works!
My husband and I use this serum whenever we have facial skin flare-ups. It's gentle enough to not over stimulate the skin but strong enough to eliminate blemishes. Usually we use it at night time, twice a week for management and add extra dabs during the day on blemishes. We also dab a bit on wrinkles and it seems to help reduce them a bit. I have very sensitive skin and this SkinCeuticals Blemish and Age Defense serum does not aggravate my skin.

The only thing that works on older acne prone skin
I’m in my 40s and for years now this is the only way to tamp down cystic flares in my older skin. Nothing else gets deep beneath the surface like this serum to both fight acne and combat wrinkles and discoloration. Plain salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide can’t compare, they’re better for younger skin and just dry me out. This serum can go under my moisturizer and makeup and prevent breakouts during the day while I use my retinols at night. The most expensive thing I consistently buy and worth every penny.
