After receiving a sample of this along with my order of my other standard sunscreen fav for years, I purchased this full size product. I don't break out using this product
I don't like very many sunscreens because even with careful cleansing at evening, my skin tends to break out. Not this one. Not too shiny, doesn't feel goopy.

I hate the smell
This sunscreen smells like stale rotting pine needles to me, and I could not get it to go away and hated smelling it on my face all day. I have had the same experience with all SkinCeuticals sunscreens that I’ve tried. It also felt tacky to me on my skin. It may be a good SPF and well-suited for other skin types, but the scent was way too distracting to me for it to be usable.

Strong, bad smell
I am a huge fan of Skinceuticals products, but I am not able to use this because of the strong smell. I literally tried it once and then threw it away. I don’t know what is causing the smell and was quite surprised and disappointed.

Brightening indeed!
This product works in my opinion. I use this sunscreen when I don't wear makeup, usually on the weekends. When I use this product, my morning ritual is to wash my face, dab on some C E Ferulic, moisturize my skin. Let that absorb then apply this product. People have stopped me a handful of times to say my skin is glowing and to ask me what I use. Now I take pretty good care of my skin and my skin is pretty good for a 50 year old woman, but it is not "stop me on street and comment on my skin good". I attribute those comments to the Daily Brightening Sunscreen. Making sure I don't run out of this stuff!

I like this but I don't know if I like it enough to pay this much for it again. It goes on light and smooth but it's a tad shimmery. I haven't decided how I feel about that yet. It's almost like a nice glow but I don't know if I always want that look. I'll probably stick to my makeup or moisturizer with sunscreen once I'm done with this.

Wish there was a tinted version
I like this and do use it daily. I actually cocktail it with the tinted SkinCeuticals sunscreen. This is a good 'serum' type sunscreen if you wear it alone. I will buy it again and again.
