Huge disappointment
I am a licensed Esthetician that has tried all types of serums- both in the high expensive end and cheaper drug store brand/over the counter products. After using this serum, I hate to say it but I am highly disappointed in its performance and didn’t really notice any significant change in my skin. The serum was incorporated in my skin care routine as an additional item for hydration, I played with it in various ways to try and figure out how to use it best and no matter how I did it- it just wouldn’t work. I tried using it with other serums, by itself, not applying moisturizer, applying moisturizer just to see if I could get it to work and it simply wouldn’t. No matter how I used it, it wouldn’t stop piling and clumping after drying. It almost feels like if you have a gel film and then you get those little balls that clump and it sits on the skin. The only time I noticed my skin get more plump was right after I washed my face and applied the serum, but like I said once it dries it clumps up and just feels like a greasy, sticky film. I didn’t notice any difference in hydration, it actually made it worse as I would wake up in the morning with a very shiny and oily face. Overall, this was an over priced, overhyped serum that I cannot understand how people like this product. Maybe I didn’t use it correctly, but with all the different ways and attempts I tried to make it work- none of them did and therefore it was a waste of money, product, and I certainly won’t be purchasing again or recommend to anyone. I will stick to using other hydrating serums, this was a big flop for me personally.

Expensive and Useless
I just finished my bottle of this serum, having purchased it at high cost and with great expectation. It seems to have done nothing for my skin. I've perceived no benefits, and actually, it's rather possible my skin has been drier while I've used it twice a day, after cleansing and before moisturizing. No product works for everyone, and this product did not work for me. Needless to say, I will not repurchase it.

Unfortunately, this definitely did not work for me. Made my skin red, dry and bumpy. I'm thinking it has something to do with the 4th listed ingredient being alcohol denat.

I wanted to love this because I love all of my other Skinceuticals products, but I didn't. After using it for several days, my face and eyes got red and irritated and that was the only change I had made to my skincare routine.
