I received a sample of this through lovely skin and it was so great a purchased a bottle. The directions say you should rub it into your skin until it is absorbed - I wasn’t doing this initially - so things may improve more as I continue to use it. I do notice my skin is softer and more even toned when I wake.

I purchased this to try as a treatment along with my other SkinCeuticals products. It has a nice silky smooth finish, but I also need to use an additional moisturizer for my dry skin. It is nice and nourishing, but not sure if I will repurchase again. Time will tell.

Hydrating, plumping and smoothing
I haven’t used this long enough to see an effect on sun damage but the high glycerin content in combination with the niacinamide is hydrating, plumping and smoothing. I don’t think it’s hydrating enough, however, to use as a moisturizer on dry winter skin — I use a moisturizer on top. The price is steep and the product can sting a little when applied to the skin. But overall this is a high quality product that I would recommend.

I use other SkinCeuticals products, which I love, so I decided to test this one out. It did not impress me - it was not rich in consistency, it did not feel like it was nourishing my skin and it didn't really take care of pigmentation. It did hydrate the skin somewhat, but i need more hydration than that - so I am going back to SkinCeuticals lipid cream which I love.

Great moisturizer
I loved the way that this felt on my skin… very silky, luxurious, and moisturizing without being oily or heavy. Four stars because I think that niacinamide unfortunately doesn’t agree with my skin (sensitive and acne-prone) and I therefore couldn’t get the full benefits of using this product, but I loved wearing it and think that it seems like a great moisturizer for those of any skin type that is not sensitive to niacinamide.
