This is one of my favorite exfoliants. I have sensitive skin and hormonal acne. It’s always a challenge to manage but this exfoliant really helps keep skin clear and smooth without upset.

Always in my shower
In the evening, I add a dab of the scrub to a dab of Skin Ceuticals Simply Clean to wash away makeup and layers of sunscreen. Even though the scrub is not harsh on it's own, I always add a gentle cleanser to give it more of a slip.

i would recommend
this is a good micro-exfoliator that i would recommend for removing flaky skin or if your skin feels a bit congested. i would recommend using GENTLE strokes while cleansing face and neck because it can be quite scratchy if you are too aggressive. otherwise, i like it. i do not use it everyday, only about twice a week, alternating with other cream and gel cleansers.

Prefer another brand
I wanted to step up my exfoliant to a grittier product. I find this one a bit too rough and also lacking concentration. What I mean is that there are a few very coarse grains in each drop of product as opposed to a higher concentration of grit. I don’t even like using this product on my body. It is like washing with coarse sand.

I didn't think I needed another exfoliator scrub, but this one sounded different in the description as something you can use much more often than once or twice a week. I actually use this almost every day after cleansing with a foaming cleanser. This is very gentle and helps smooth my skin before I begin my daily skincare and makeup routine in the am. In the evening, I feel like it prepares my skin for my evening obagi blender and prescription tretinoin application. I would definitely buy this again!
