Mmmmm… Debatable!
I bought this sunscreen specifically because it has a matte texture: I live in very hot weather conditions where the temperature reaches 52 degrees Celsius between June & September, even my face sweats when I’m out and so I didn’t want any more “shine” on it!! The sunscreen is really good & the tint is kind of universal, but if you have a very dry skin it will peel on your face!!! That’s what happened to me in the beginning! Now I make sure to combine it with a real good moisturizing cream, which I apply right before the sunscreen NOT an hour or even half an hour earlier!! Once your face absorbs the cream, the sunscreen will peel again and turns into disgusting chunks that will make you hate your skin!! Also be very careful if you use a matte foundation before this sunscreen…!!

Terrible consistency
I love SkinCeuticals products and use them daily so I was excited to try this tinted spf but it was terrible. The consistency was very sand paper like, incredibly rough and caused my skin to be covered all over in dry flakes immediately. I had to remove and restart again. I shook the tube in hopes that might help but it was the same issue. This is the first product I've ever return due to such disappointment.

I never write a review, but this product is amazing. It does everything it claims to do. Goes on silky, keeps makeup and face matte even in hot climates and provides SPF. I use is as a primer, and because it's tinted, somedays I don't wear makeup over it.....does it all. Long lasting as well.

This is an ok sunscreen but it doesn't give the coverage I was hoping for. It does help with pore size though. It does the job but I still have another tinted sunscreen that is my favorite. It is matte but not as matte as my favorite either. I just am unable to get my favorite right now.

just missed the mark
Working from home I don't often find the need to wear makeup so I am thrilled by the idea of a tinted sunscreen but the matte is a little too "matte" for me. I have oily skin and live in a hot humid state so thought for sure this is what I needed but I think I would opt for a non-matte version next time.

Nice sunscreen
This sunscreen has a nice matte feeling. I don’t like that the color is so light. I feel a little pale after applying but it seems to fade a bit, just do not over apply! I think the bottle could be MUCH bigger. Overall it sits nicely on skin and does feel like it’s clogging my pores.
