Very strong - dried me out
Probably the strongest retinol (or at least one that gave the most adverse reaction) of any product I've ever used. Unfortunately, had to be very sparing and selective of when I used it, as my entire neck and face flaked!

This cream goes on smoothly and easily. I saw and felt a difference in my skin within a few applications. Follow the directions for use. The surface of your skin may dry out and slough in the first few weeks of use - I use a Clarisonic skin cleanser brush and moisturize when /if this happens.

New to SkinCeuticals so far - great results
I was introduced to SkinCeuticals by my dermatologist. In my mid 40s and combating early signs of aging I needed to up my skin care game. I started with the Retinol 0.3 to get my skin used to it. Will start using the Retinol 1.0 in about 3-4 days once I finish my Retinol 0.3. I use in combination with a few other SkinCeuticals products and so far very happy....reduced wrinkles, plumper skin, smooth, and other benefits.

Too harsh for my sensitive skin
Though I love SkinCeuticals, this product was just too harsh for my skin. I do use retinol products but as a prescription from my dermatologist. Unfortunately, this product was just not for me. I had to return it for my regular regimen products.

PORES ARE SMALLER
I got this product 2 or 3 months ago and I love it. I use it 2 or 3 times per week to improve my acne scars and this product has been very helpful. You won’t see results overnight but be consistent with it and you will see a huge improvement after using it for a couple of weeks. My skin glows and the scars are not as deep as they were. Totally worth it!!

Good product, the 1.0 strength needs to be introduced gradually or it can be a bit abrasive. I advise starting with the .05 and working up. I tend toward SkinCeutical products because of the great science behind them and their efficacy.

Really love SkinCeuticals products as they work! I do not have sensitive skin so I was not expecting to have the peeling and sloughing to happen right away. I would recommend beginning this in the fall or winter. Make sure you have spf 50 coverage and apply liberally.
