Great results
After about a week of using this each morning the milia, blackheads, and acne I've battled for decades have all improved. My skin looks much better. It does not smell very good, and it does sting a bit on existing blemishes or abrasions. My main complaint is the price. A little of the serum goes a long way, but even so, this is a high price point for the quantity.

I have been dealing with adult breakouts for the past couple of years. Mayo Clinic diagnosed it as Perioral Dermatitis. I started doing some research for products that would help clear it up and more importantly, prevent it. I am now using the SkinCeuticals AHA cleanser, this product along with the SkinCeuticals Blemish + Age Defense. The combo seems to be helping a lot! I use Vanicream for my moisturizer and then add the SkinCeuticals Daily Brightening UV Defense sunscreen. All are used daily and nightly, with the exception of the sunscreen. I also bought Clean Skin Club clean towels on Amazon and no longer use a cotton washcloth. I can say I am seeing positive results and the price of the products are worth it!

Top vitamin c serum for my acne-prone skin
This is my favorite vitamin C serum. I've tried the CE Ferulic, but it's too oily for my acne-prone skin. This serum is much more lightweight and doesn't leave a shiny finish, more of a subtle glow. It's not irritating even with the salicylic acid, and helps to brighten my skin tone over the 4 months I used it, and keep blemishes from coming up. I will definitely repurchase this over the CE Ferulic version.

Caused me to breakout- skip this one
I concur with others. I have acne prone/oily skin (skin of color), and ever since I have been using this product my skin has gotten worse (pimples continuously appear on my face). I agree that the consistency is quite oily and leaves a sticky residue on your face (odd since it’s supposed to reduce oiliness!). I’m switching back to Phloretin CF, which works much better.

I had high hopes for SkinCeuticals Silymarin CF Vitamin C Serum
Given the high price point for this serum, I had very high hopes. However, I experienced constant breakouts while using this product. Initially, I thought I might have been using too much of the serum, so I tried reducing the amount, but unfortunately, the breakouts continued. I made the decision to discontinue using the product due to the ongoing skin issues it was causing me. It's disappointing when a product doesn't work out as expected, especially when it comes with a hefty price tag. I would recommend being cautious and perhaps doing a patch test before fully incorporating this product into your skincare routine.
