I have been dealing with adult breakouts for the past couple of years. Mayo Clinic diagnosed it as Perioral Dermatitis. I started doing some research for products that would help clear it up and more importantly, prevent it. I am now using the SkinCeuticals AHA cleanser, this product along with the SkinCeuticals Blemish + Age Defense. The combo seems to be helping a lot! I use Vanicream for my moisturizer and then add the SkinCeuticals Daily Brightening UV Defense sunscreen. All are used daily and nightly, with the exception of the sunscreen. I also bought Clean Skin Club clean towels on Amazon and no longer use a cotton washcloth. I can say I am seeing positive results and the price of the products are worth it!

Top vitamin c serum for my acne-prone skin
This is my favorite vitamin C serum. I've tried the CE Ferulic, but it's too oily for my acne-prone skin. This serum is much more lightweight and doesn't leave a shiny finish, more of a subtle glow. It's not irritating even with the salicylic acid, and helps to brighten my skin tone over the 4 months I used it, and keep blemishes from coming up. I will definitely repurchase this over the CE Ferulic version.

I like the Silymarin CF VC Serum
I originally was going to return this product because I thought I was ordering something else. I read the purpose of the product and felt it was more geared toward acne than the vitamin C I was wanting. I am 51 and believe it or not, still have acne. So frustrating. But I am constanting looking for the products that work for my aging skin. I decided to keep this as I believe I am going through the change and have been having weird clogged pours that I have never had before and just weird acne. I have been using this and am finding my pours are not as clogged and that the skin is looking better. I hate the price but I would buy again.

Better than the CE Ferulic for my skin
I was using the SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic serum for many months and liked the results, but when I was going to purchase another one, I decided to first look into the different vitamin C serums that SkinCeuticals had to offer, and I am so glad that I did. I have oily / sensitive / acne-prone skin and although the CE Ferulic was great, I saw that it was better for dry skin and the Silymarin one would be better for my type of skin. Since my skin is sensitive and I don't struggle with active acne, I was a little nervous that the added salicylic acid would be too irritating, but after using the Silymarin CF for some weeks, I find that it doesn't irritate my skin and I like that does not feel too heavy on my skin like the CE Ferulic did. I do also have some hyperpigmentation on my skin, am I am curious how the phloretin would work for my skin as well. Still debating if I'll try that one after I finish the Silymarin bottle.
