Great on acne prone skin
This product really works for my acne prone skin! I noticed the breakouts are lessening. My skin feels smoother, appears brighter and less oily. Yes it is expensive, but for it’s worth every penny! I use it with the daily moisturizer in day and night time and alternate every other night with retinol.

Love all Skinceutical Vit C
I will receive a free full-sized SkinCeuticals Silymarin CF Serum for posting this review. I have used all the SC Vit C serums at some point over the last few years. I love them all and this is no exception. I know this is designed for those with oily skin, which I don't have. My skin is normal, but this did not dry me out as one might think. I don't necessarily think it worked any better than the Phyloretin CF. Definitely worth a try for oily and acne prone people.

Great Vit C serum, although it does come with a smell. I would say that smell doesn't stop me from using it, because I know skinceuticals products are usually always A1. It's been great for my skin thus far, and goes on pretty easy. I would highly recommend this product, particularly for those with acne.

Worth every penny
I got a sample of this from LovelySkin and had low expectations for it working on my oily, acne-prone skin that is prone to congestion. However, the sample worked very well, so I went ahead and purchased the full bottle. I use it morning under SPF and makeup and at night, and I can honestly say that it helps with healing whiteheads and diminishing the size of cysts. I don't find that it works well with completely eliminating blackheads, but it does a great job of shrinking my pores so that those sebaceous filaments are not obvious. It dries well on my skin and doesn't leave my face oily, so it sits well under liquid foundation.

Helps keep my skin clear!
I've had a history of terrible acne since I was a teen, and it had cleared up in adulthood until about a 1.5 years ago. Skinceuticals is my absolute holy grail for acne prevention and acne healing. A few drops of this daily keeps your skin crystal clear and beautiful. In the event that you do have some acne crop up, Skinceuticals Silymarin can usually completely heal it within a day. This is my first time using a Skin Ceuticals product. I had thought about purchasing the CE Ferulic Vitamin C, but the description didn’t fit my skin. I have oily skin and tend to breakout. Silymarin sounded good! I was correct! Skin is glowing from the Vitamin C. The small amount of salicylic acid keeps the oil at bay. My face is no longer shiny, but stays clear. I use every morning after cleansing than use my sunscreen. It is a great product for me!
