Great for acne prone/ oily skin
I received a sample from LovelySkin and decided to purchase the full size bottle. I've never spent that much money on just a bottle of serum but it's worth every penny. This serum helps control the oiliness and fade the post acne dark spot. I can see improvement on my skin and I like how my face is not oily at the end of the day. This is awesome for acne prone skin! It doesn't clog pores like some other vitamin c and I love that it doesn't contain vitamin E. This is the first vitamin c serum that didn't cause breakouts, the only downside is the price! If your on the fence I'd say give it a try.

Great for oily-ish skin
In the summer I have oily type skin (combo is what they call it). In the winter, especially the winter we just had, I have to use an actual moisturizer which I can’t wear during the day in the hot, humid summer months (except at night). My sunscreen is my moisturizer in the summer months. All that being said, I received my sample when we were still getting cold weather mixed in with warm weather. I decided that I can’t use this during cold, dry weather, but love it in the heat! It did dry my face when it was cold out as other reviewers have mentioned. But I had stopped using the C E Ferulic because it was a bit too sticky for day use and switched brands. But this is doing great now that’s it’s gotten hot here, (already) So I do recommend this product if you get that “sheen” in the afternoons, it has helped and I know I’m getting a great product. If you have dry skin year round it may not be the best product.
