Great for oily-ish skin
In the summer I have oily type skin (combo is what they call it). In the winter, especially the winter we just had, I have to use an actual moisturizer which I can’t wear during the day in the hot, humid summer months (except at night). My sunscreen is my moisturizer in the summer months. All that being said, I received my sample when we were still getting cold weather mixed in with warm weather. I decided that I can’t use this during cold, dry weather, but love it in the heat! It did dry my face when it was cold out as other reviewers have mentioned. But I had stopped using the C E Ferulic because it was a bit too sticky for day use and switched brands. But this is doing great now that’s it’s gotten hot here, (already) So I do recommend this product if you get that “sheen” in the afternoons, it has helped and I know I’m getting a great product. If you have dry skin year round it may not be the best product.

A totally new kind of skincare product

After receiving g a sample of this product I went ahead and purchased the full-sized version. I have mature acne-prone skin and it does not break me out and it seems to be preventing new breakouts. I’ve only been using it a couple of weeks and so far can not detect any “skin brightening” effects, but maybe that will be evident with longer use.

Great Vitamin C for Acne Prone Skin
I am a loyal fan of SkinCeuticals Vitamin C serums. I use only SkinCeuticals after having tried all different brands on the market. My teenage daughter, age 18 suffers from hormonal acne. While she is being treated by a dermatologist, she is somewhat of a skin care junkie like me. She takes amazing care of her skin. She started using a drug store brand vitamin C a long time ago. I’ve only been using Silymarin CF for two weeks, but so far so good. I have oily, acne prone and sensitive skin at 42. I was previously using CE Ferulic, but wanted to try Silymarin CF, I was concerned the Silymarin would be to harsh on my sensitive skin, but I have not had any issues. I’m happy with the product.
