My new favorite c serum
I will receive a free full-sized SkinCeuticals Silymarin CF Serum for posting this review. I have used CE Ferulic for years. I took a chance and ordered this product. I love it. My skin tends to be more on the oily side rather than the dry side and I am 48. I don't have acne but I do get the occasional pimple and I have pores that i need to keep on top of. This product gives all of the benefits of the CE Ferulic but without the shiny skin. I have noticed that my skin looks so much better since switching and I just read that this product also has salicylic acid, which I didn't realize. This soaks into my skin really well and it doesn't smell as bad as its counter part. I will use this forever.

I’ve been using Skinceuticals CE ferulic for years. I really liked it, but this version is a much better fit for my acne prone skin. Super lightweight and keeps my skin bright and less congested. I have already gone through 3 bottles of it.

The best serum ever!!
I have used SkinCeuticals for years! The Phloretin CF was my favorite because I am in my thirties and am aging but still tend to break out if I used anything too rich because I have oily/combination skin. The CF was great but it didn’t feel like the perfect fit for my skin. Then enter the newer Silymarin CF!! I get all the benefits of the anti-aging vitamin c content and on top of that I am not left with an oily feeling. This serum actually prevents breakouts I noticed a huge difference I am no longer seeing the occasional breakout on my face and my skin has never looked better! I am definitely a lifer with this serum my skin looks and feels smooth and any fine lines or scarring seem to be disappearing!

Silymarin for the win
I know the price tag is shocking! This vitamin c has been thoroughly researched and clinically proven to give results so I said why not. I’ve tried many vitamin c serums throughout my skincare journey and this serum is the gold standard for a reason. I will not be using any other vitamin C. I no longer wear foundation. I mostly deal with congested pores and this has been keeping those pores clean. If you are on the fence I suggest to highly try this you will see a difference in your skin!

I love that I’m able to treat hyperpigmentation from previous breakouts while preventing new ones with the salicylic acid and I’m still getting the benefits of Vitamin C, Ferulic acid, and Silymarin. It’s such a powerhouse serum that treats several skin issues with one product. I let it absorb for a few minutes before I apply my moisturizer and sunscreen and it layers well. I will definitely continue to use it!

I have been using this product for about two months straight. I previously used the Skinceuticals CE Ferulic but found that my oily skin got congested from it. I was thrilled when I saw this version which is more suited for oily skin gals like me. Finally I’m able to use my serum and not suffer from clogged pores! Everyone I know loves the CE Ferulic but unfortunately my skin didn’t love it and I’m better with the Silymarin serum. My skin feels less oily and looks clearer and brighter. Best for oily skin!!
I have really oil skin all over and it had been hard to find a vitamin c serum that wouldn't clog my pores and make my face more oily. This one is a powerhouse though. I usually use only a few drops massaging in right after face wash. Then after I would apply HA B5 serum and then moisturizer. I would use sunscreen if using this in the morning though. After a week, I had noticed somewhat little change in my skin. Some of my dark spots had become lighter. It’s such a wonderful product. The price point is kinda over the top but with this quality, it is so worth it. Totally recommending this if you have oily skin and some extra buck to splurge for your skin.

Game changer for oily skin
Ever since I started using this I feel like it’s done wonders for controlling the oil on my skin without drying it out. I have FAR less breakouts now. Just the occasional hormonal flare up. So Happy I Tried This Product
I decided to try SC Silymarin CF after discontinuing use of CE Ferulic when it became to strong for my increasingly sensitive, aging skin. So happy I did! I wasn't sure this would work on my combination, late-50's skin, but I use it every morning with great results. My skin can occasionally get dry and flaky with evening use of Retin-A, but only glowing skin with the Silymarin CF.

Amazing for Acne-Prone Skin
I will receive a free full-sized SkinCeuticals Silymarin CF Serum for posting this review. Although this is still a relatively new product from SkinCeuticals, it has quickly become my new favorite Vitamin C serum! For those wondering about the differences between this serum and Phloretin CF and CE Ferulic (arguably the 2 of the most popular products from the SkinCeuticals line), Silymarin CF is specifically formulated for oily and acne-prone skin. The formulation in this serum is very similar to CE Ferulic (both contain 15% Vitamin C and .5% Ferulic Acid), but Silymarin CF also contains Salicylic Acid and Silymarin for added exfoliation and antioxidant protection. In the past, I've typically used CE Ferulic during the colder winter months and Phloretin CF during the warm summer months, but now, I've found Silymarin CF to be extremely effective for me year-round. I love pairing this product with the SkinCeuticals LHA Cleansing Gel and Blemish + Age Defense serum, and a sunscreen (I love the Physical Matte UV Defense SPF 50 for those with oily skin!). Silymarin CF is a bit pricey, but worth every penny - I highly recommend it!
