Best SPF For Sensitive Skin
I use this tinted SPF every day. It's just enough to blur small imperfections and wear alone on "no make up" days. I am not someone with only "small" imperfections, so I need fuller coverage on most occasions. What I love about the SkinMedica Mineral Shield is that it is great under my foundation as well. The best part of all is that I can apply it directly over my eyes (which need SPF too!) and I have no reaction at all. Typically, sunscreen in or even near my eyes causing burning and watering, but this does not cause either. It's fantastic.

It is so hard as an African American to find a mineral sunscreen that doesn't leave a cast. Although this one is tinted, it does leave a slight cast. I wish folks would cater to us as well.

The right blend of moisture & tint
I've used Elta MD sunscreen for years and their tinted sunscreen is a bit too drying for my skin. SkinMedica's tinted sunscreen is a nice amount of tint to subtly even my color and doesn't dry me out at the end of the day. Good product!

Cosmetically elegant physical SPF
I'm nearing the end of my first bottle of this sunscreen. It spreads easily, I appreciate the pump, it never pills and the tint ensures no white cast. It is among the most cosmetically elegant sunscreens I have used, though I do have to be careful with blending on to my neck (I prefer to use a non-tinted sunscreen on my neck and chest, so as not to stain clothing). The tint is warmer than that of the SkinCeuticals physical fusion SPF 50, which I love but can look a tad gray on its own on my complexion. On my combination skin, it sometimes appears too dewy for me in my oily areas, so I have to powder over it. I also wish it had a higher SPF rating. For those reasons, plus the high price and lack of significant antioxidants, I will not rush to repurchase as we approach the warmer months. I may come back to it next winter, if on sale.

Light coverage non greasy
Looks very complimentary on skin, perfect color match. Have only used it a few times and not really tested it as a sunscreen. It is a pump bottle do not know if it has enough product in it to last several months. We shall see.

The perfect SPF
I love this product so much, I have 2 extra bottles to ensure I NEVER run out! I’ve tried More than 10 SPF products/brands, and the only one that comes close is the Epionce SPF. However, it can pill, but this doesn’t matter how much you rub it in, no matter how many layers you apply under it.

Lovely Formula
I like the tinted, moisturizing formula. For reference, I'm very fair-skinned with warm tones. The tint might look odd for someone with pinkish skin or darker skin. I ca't use this on my face because I'm super prone to breakouts, but I use it on my neck and chest every day. I wish it had an spf of 40. That's why I didn't give it the full 5 stars.

SkinMedica Essential Defense Mineral Shield Broad Spectrum SPF 32 - Tinted is a great daily sunscreen for the face. I tried a sample and liked it enough to purchased the regular size. It goes on smoothly with a nice natural color that blends with my skin unlike some mineral sunscreens that leave your face whitish or with an unnatural tone. Doesn't stay in the creases either and you can really later without it looking heavy.
