This face wash seems to be gentle. To me its just ok, but its a good amount for the money it cost. It has sort a gel consistency not a cream or lotion and it foams decent once you apply it. Does not irritate my skin or anything. Probably will try a different cleanser one once this bottle is gone just because it does not seem to have the overall experience I was thinking it would.

I have been reluctant to change up my "go to" nightly cleanser, from EltaMD, Foaming Facial Cleanser, however, after using SkinMedica's Facial Cleanser, I have to say, now I have a second "go to", and alternate nightly! I love the light fragrance and the way it leaves my skin--clean , but not dried out! I think both lines are stellar. So happy that LovelySkin is such a great resource!

Old Woman Smell.
This was my first time trying SkinMedica products and I was not that impressed. The scent of this cleanser was very potpourri-ish....reminded me too much of an elderly woman scent. It does the job of washing my face, but I just can't get past the smell. I will not be repurchasing. Kinda disappointed with all the hype I have heard from this brand.
