Cool and definitely "awakens"
I love the shampoo and thought i would try the conditioner to see if adds a difference. It is VERY thick and hard to squeeze out of the bottle. They definitely need a pump for the larger size!!! It smells like the shampoo - definite minty essence that makes skin/scalp feel cool and "awake". Too soon to tell if adding this to the shampoo regimen produces more results.

I was looking for a shampoo and conditioner with nontoxic ingredients for my thinning hair and itchy scalp (seborrheic dermatitis). At first, I was hesitant to purchase it, due to the price. This, in conjuction with the Surface Awaken Shampoo and Thickening Cream, is a game-changer for me. Surface Awaken Therpeutic Condition
About 6 mos. ago I went through a horrible spell with my hair...crust, flaking and lots of hair loss. I had been a different brand for years. A scalp biopsy diagnosed psoriasis. However after getting it to clear up with prescription shampoos & meds, it came back when I resumed that other brand. My beautician suggested Suface Awaken and gave me a sample of the shampoo & conditioner & I was hooked. Made my scalp feel wonderful. I added the Surface Mist Conditioner as the biopsy showed my scalp sebaceous glands had atrophied from the psoriasis, so I needed the moisture. And I added the Awaken Mousse & Thickening Cream..a life saver. I use the mousse right after a hair cut but when my hair gets a little longer I go with the thickening Cream. Finally added the Awaken Finishing Spray which has great hold without weighting down my fine hair. These Surface Awaken products are nothing short of a miracle for me. My hair is looks thicker, fuller & some areas are starting to fill in. And since using the psoriasis hasn’t come back...not saying won’t, there is no cure... but I couldn’t be happier.

Great Compliment to the Shampoo
I live in a humid, warm climate which causes my scalp to break out occasionally. I started using the Awaken Therapeutic Shampoo and Conditioner a year ago, and I am extremely happy with the results. The conditioner is a great partner for the shampoo. Since I have thick, yet fine hair, so I am always concerned that a conditioner will make my hair greasy. This does not. Plus it is cooling and soothing on the scalp. It does tingle some. but to me that just means it is working. Great product!

Good for hair
I've used this and the shampoo for about 10 years. It leaves my hair in great shape and I believe it helps prevent thinning. You don't want to get in your eyes as it will really sting.
