This makes my skin so smooth and does not irritate it like retinol does after not using it for a long time. I wanted a product that was a gateway of sorts back into retinol because I had stopped using it for about 2 year while I was trying to conceive and get pregnant. I am really impressed with this product and I really like the consistency. It feels like moisturizer and is easy to spread on your face. A little goes a long way!

Great intro to retinol for sensitive skin
I bought this on a recommendation from my aesthetician. I appreciate that it's a good introduction to retinol, as one never wants to start off too strong! I like the pump, as it dispenses just the right amount no peeling no irritation or noticeable scent. I do feel it has a "silicone" feel to it. I switched from using a retinol serum to using this retinaldehyde serum because I read that retinaldehyde requires only one conversion to turn it into retinoic acid instead of the two conversions that retinol requires. It is also gentler. This product has such an elegant formulation and feels wonderful on my skin. I don't get any irritation at all. I use 2 pumps for my face, neck and the back of my hands every night. When the pump stops, I cut the tube open to scoop out any remaining product for a few days. It is expensive, but I love it and will continue using it. I appreciate the sales.
