Made my hair dull and dry, with little curl

This made my hair so soft almost all my curls except for a few corkscrews turned into waves, which I found very strange and not at all what I wanted or expected. It also made my hair look dull, as if it were dirty. I tried it twice, and whether I used it with Virtue's matching conditioner or not it created with the same result. Very disappointing. I'll be tossing it out.
