Smells and tastes absolutely horrible
It's so hard for me to take this supplement. I am not sure if they are suppose to smell so strongly or if they are bad. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth and just hard to take. Are these pills suppose to stink so much?

I was told by my dermatologist that Viviscal and the foam spray from a different brand (for men) are the only 2 products that have been proven to actually make the most significant difference for hair regrowth. So I use both! My hair does grow much quicker with these products and is perhaps ever so slightly thicker, but there are still spots of hair thinning I have. I know that it does take a long time before results appear (6 months before it’s fair to judge a product), so I will decide my final thoughts after a few more months.

Seems to be working?
I've been using these Viviscal tablets for about seven months at this point. I definitely have a lot of baby hairs around my hairline, which is nice. I also think I have less scalp showing on my hair part. However, given how slowly hair grows, I think it's still a bit early to make a final judgment. I plan to keep using these tablets for at least 12-18 months and will re-assess then. So far, though, I'm pleased. And as a side note, I was a bit worried about whether the biotin in these tablets might give me acne, as I have very reactive skin. However, my skin's been about the same.

Top Supplement for Hair Loss
My dermatologist prescribed Viviscal as part of my hair loss treatment, along with 5% minoxidil. I had been using minoxidil prior to seeking assistance from a dermatologist. I have been using Viviscal for 60 days and have noticed the following benefits as compared to just the minoxidil alone: increased hair growth (can tell by the amount of grey roots and fly-aways from growth), hair density is getting better, still fine (used to have thick, coarse hair), not as much shedding in the shower and hair is shinier. My dermatologist indicated it takes 90 days to experience the full benefits so I am happy with the benefits experienced at 60 days. I just ordered two additional 90-day supply packs.
