Smell fishy
I was on the fence about the pro vs. regular viviscal. I had always used the regular and saw hair growth but hair stylist recommended the pro. However mine had a fishy smell and taste the other did not have still using first months supply so not sure if I notice a difference from regular as far as growth.

Please give this a CHANCE!!!!!
I’ve been taking this for a year and a half. My Derm suggested this product. Although she offers Nutrafol, she felt Viviscal Pro has shown better results in her experience. She was right. Give it time. Please give it time. It’s not a miracle solution and I don’t want to give any false hope because there is no cure to hair loss. Today I have more new hairs, and I lose so so much less than when I started. I actually like doing my hair now. I use to hate washing my hair. Seeing strand after strand on my bathroom floor, in my shower, on my brush, would cause tears. No, I’ll never get back the hair I had in my 20’s. But now at 50, approaching the end of menopause, I feel and look pretty damn good!

Starting using Viviscal Pro on 5/2/2020 and am writing this review on 5/23/20. After a couple of weeks I noticed short strands of hair coming up along my forehead hairline. On 5/15/20 while getting a haircut my hairdressor noticed the new growth. I am a 75 year old with newly diagnosed hypothyroidism so hair loss is not uncommon and I'm delighted and hopeful that the growth will continue.

Stress? Age? But my fine, curly hair was stopping up the drain. I'm on month 6 and do notice a few baby hairs where I'd lost quite a bit of hair. Will continue another 6 months and see. I also switched to a co-wash, so hard to say what's responsible for what.

I have been taking this supplement for almost a year now after experiencing excessive hair loss. My doctor could find no medical reason for this loss so I still don't know what caused it. I have used it for 3 months and it was recommended by my dermatologist due to my excessive hair loss, weak strands and almost bald patches I got after using a certain Hair product line for many years. I have only been taking this for about a month. My hair is crazy shiny and healthy looking! I haven’t had a chance to make it to a salon. They only reopened in my state about 5 days ago. I had been taking the regular Viviscal for about a year and had positive results. Thin, fine hair runs in my family and I wondered if this would help. Surprisingly it did. Of course it did not change my hair texture but I noticed a dramatic reduction of daily hair loss ( my stylist even noticed). The experience with Lovelyskin was great. Not so much with the product. Only used it for eight days and that was more than enough to know is not for me. In only 8 days I gained weight and felt bloated while taking the tablets. Stopped the product and within days went back to my normal weight and haven't felt bloated at all. Please, keep in mind this was my experience and that every person is different.
