Just Starting Out
I've been taking this product for about 3-1/2 weeks. I think it takes at least 3 months for you to notice any results. But, I have already noticed that there is less hair coming out of my head when combing or in the shower, and that's worth something right there! I plan to evaluate at three months whether I will continue to take this product, but based upon what I am seeing so far, I think it works.

I just finished my first month of the supplements and was cautiously optimistic that they would work. I have been taking this product for about 3 weeks and having starting seeing new hair growth. As with any vitamin supplement, the taste is very organic-like, but I think with continued use & enough intake of water daily, a full 3 month for significant results.

Good Vitamins
Since I started taking Viviscal vitamins, I feel like my hair appears fuller, and I can actually see new baby hairs growing on my front head. Also, my hair had stared thinning and since taking Viviscal the new hair growth is of thicker hair. However, Viviscal won’t help over night, you do need to give it a try for at least a good couple months before you note any difference.

I was taking their Extra Strength version for about a month, but my dermatologist recommended I use Professional instead for a more powerful treatment. I've been using Viviscal Professional for just over 3 months now. I'm not sure whether or not I have increased hair growth based on just looking at my hair. However, I will say that the "hair-catcher" drain cover in my shower seems to catch a lot less hair than when I started taking these supplements. I think the "professional" version works better than the regular version. I previously tried the regular version and saw no difference in my hair.

Better than the extra strength viviscal!
I've used both extra strength viviscal and the professional viviscal. I have to say that the professional does work better than the extra strength. The extra strength you can primarily just get in drug stores. But the professional you can only get from an authorized retailer, such as your dermatologist or LovelySkin. While using the professional, I hardly had any hair loss in the shower. I ran out, and I went back to using the extra strength that I found in the drugstore for a couple months & I've noticed a lot more shedding. I'll never make that mistake again! Back to the professional strength I go. And save everyone time on researching cost of the professional, LovelySkin has the most affordable price.

I'm not sure if this product is working or not. I do know that when I stopped taking it my hair thinned out a lot, again. I keep losing hair in the temples and front because of hormonal changes. I purchased this again hoping those areas will improve again. Fingers crossed.

Worthy long term investment
It's definitely a long-term investment, just like any of the facial products you apply on daily basis, but for viviscal, it's not topical, it's a supplement. Initially, I stopped for 2 whole months after consuming viviscal for 6 months straight because I do see improvement of my falling hair conditions, but I was wrong. After stopping for 2 months, my hair went back to the original "falling" state. This left me no choice but to continue consuming viviscal as it proved to be effective after 4-6 months continuous consumption.

Really wanted this product to work for me
Viviscal Professional Supplements had great reviews and came highly recommended. I use the shampoo, conditioner and elixir and wanted to round out my routine with the supplements. Unfortunately, I had an allergic reaction to something in them that caused extreme scalp itching during 4 days of use which did not subside. I had to return them which was a disappointment. I googled it, and it has happened to others. Not on a regular basis. Do not let my experience deter you from using these as I said, other’s experience was positive.
