I do agree that it is a good idea to pair this product with a light moisturizer during the day and a restorative moisturizer at night because of the retinol but overall, the effect of skin brightening and health is extraordinary and the ingredients can't be beat. I also think it's a good deal given the all-in-one qualities. You might have to buy several different bottles to get the same ingredients and end up spending more. Overall, highly recommend

I love how this feels as it goes on; not too light nor too goopy. The effects are noticeable after as little a a week; my skin is more even and a bit brighter. One very nice thing is that this formula does not depend on L-ascorbic acid, which is inherently unstable and requires a low-pH environment (typically <3.5) to "force" penetration through the skin barrier. This product uses Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, which is a stable, water-soluble salt. It is effective at a physiological, skin-neutral pH (usually closer to 6.0–7.0). Makes it much less likely to irritate and easier to pair with other sera and products.
