The consistency of this lip “complex” would better lend itself to a jar rather than packaging that screams “put me on your lips.” The plastic tip fell off, and I feel like I’m using far too much just putting my lips to the stick. If this product were in a small jar, it’d use less plastic and elevate what I think Dermalogica was going for. Poor packaging has led to poor usage, and I dread more than look forward to encountering it in my purse. Really, I should be applying this complex with a brush at night at least. I’m perplexed by the poor execution of a lip complex. It does taste delicious though!

This is the only Dermalogica product that I’ve been disappointed in. I’ve used many Dermalogica products and loved them so I decided to try this new product they came out with. I found it irritating for my sensitive skin and the bottle stopper doesn’t work. Cannot recommend it.

Like all Dermalogica products, the name confused me, so of course I bought it—this stuff is well reviewed and I must’ve thought, “why not?” I’ve found that layering it beneath my retinol serum gives me a solid buffer so my skin isn’t always dry and pink afterwards, but the serum—which has a somewhat water-based cream-gel texture—is best on retinol rest nights. I use it with the Babor derma-filler and collagen moisturizer and the mix has been hydrating and relieving on retinol off nights. Clearly I’m still working it into my routine, but I love that it makes my skin plumper!! And it smells divine, it has a very light citrusy odor. I love it.
