I fell in love with this on the first try. It can be layered for more coverage, and gives a luminous finish while offering sun protection. It looks better than a foundation, but still natural. Great color. I will be ordering this one again, and it will replace my other facial sunscreens this summer!

I love the Skin Medica Essential Defense Mineral Shield Broad Spectrum SPF 35 Sunscreen, untinted version. This sunscreen formulation is a great hybrid version. I gravitate towards all mineral sunscreens because hybrid versions tend to irritate my eyes. This one doesn't. It goes on smooth, absorbs quickly and works well under makeup for me. The niacinamide is an added bonus that helps to keep those pesky skin spots at bay. I use it more in the warmer months when my combo skin is not as dry.

When I wear SPF its usually when I'm going on a walk and/or exercising outside. I tend to get some sort of breakout from this product, but it could be also exercise/sweat, etc. May just be a me thing. It does a nice job of sun protection. I typically use a tinted SPF from ILIA for my daily and casual foundation.
