Sure you can splash water on your face like a plebe, but why would you when you can aim a canister of pure French artesian right at your visage and blast away like a Parisian graffiti artist? My skin remains agnostic to the product’s purported magic, but the main reason I use it is to enhance the delivery of my serums and moisturizers. The mist is so fine that that you can cover every pore with just enough moisture to work a product into its depths without wetting your face like a poor.

It’s ok but I don’t think I will repurchase… didn’t see much when using it. I guess if you live in a place with hard water it can be a nice addition to your routine, just don’t get your hopes up. It’s just a little bit calming.

Great for after shower or facials!
I used a similar product from Caudalie after my at home facials. My sensitive skin gets very red after a steam and irritated after the pores are purged. The Caudalie refreshed but this Avene product soothes and helps with the redness. It’s a fine spray so it’s comfortable to apply and when my skin is at its most vulnerable with pores wide open just like after a shower, this helps calm my skin down before I use my other skin products. I will repurchase this instead of the one from Caudalie.

The only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars is because twice now, when I have used half the can, it stops spraying...the nozzle trickles out water for a few times and then nothing at all....very frustrating when I can only use half of what I paid for.

This Avene spray is great at calming skin! Not only does it feel refreshing and clean, but it’s great after a shower or any time of the day. I also use it as a makeup setter.
