Amazing moisturizer
This product is one of the best moisturizers I have used in a very long time. I've been using it at night, but also a few times a week in the mornings and then just wiping it off like a mask product. It is amazing how dewy your skin feels and looks after using EltaMD Intense Moisturizer. Oh and it says it melts - it sure does! A little goes a long way and I'm even using it on my lips. This may be my new favorite product.

Loooove! Great for winter dry skin
I love this! I have dry sensitive skin during the winter and oily during the summer. It’s just what I need for my winter dry skin. I put a moisturizer under it and then use just a bit of the EltaMD moisturizer on top. It helps create a nice moisture barrier. It’s perfect for cold dry wind. Keeps my face moisturized and glowing.

A little greasy
I love EltaMD, but this is one of my least favourite moisturizers. In my opinion, it's way too greasy for the face (the "melting" never quite happens for me). I've been using it on my elbows and heels, and it works well... just a little expensive for the purpose it's serving.

Pricier Petroleum Jelly
I absolutely love Elta products but this "melting" moisturizer was essentially re-packaged petroleum jelly at a higher price point. I mixed it with another Elta moisturizer for a nighttime regimen to combat the cold/dry winter in Colorado and essentially had greasy skin for a few minutes which was quickly followed by clogged pores.

I purchased this product because my husband and I are older and our skin has been very dry this winter. Plus, my husband's skin has a lot of very dry, itchy patches. I have a few too. This product is very intense and you do have to use it sparingly, but in just a short period of time it has helped sooth our skin and heal some of the patches. I typically use it at night to give it more time to absorb into the skin since it is greasy.
