Must-have for winter
I'm a few months in with my prescription retinol, and on break-days I like to use something very emollient to help with any dryness. This melting moisturizer does just that -- goes on a little like vaseline, but then melts into my skin without any greasiness, just moisture. I think the larger size for the price is a very good value. I've only tried Elta MD's sunscreen, but now I love this too.

Not for me :(
I like all things Elta but this wasn't a goodie for me. Very thick, like a petroleum jelly feel to it. Tried to return it, but shipping cost almost as much as the product, so not worth returning. I'm just putting it in our guest room. Oh well! :)

Not quite as expected
I use this as a nighttime moisturizer. It does not soak into the skin. It stays on the surface to help reduce moisture loss. Feels greasy.

Great Moisturizer
I love this moisturizer. I was skeptical at first thinking it would clog my pores. It did take some adjusting, but now my skin can't do without. I purchased because I had some chemical peel procedures and did some research and this popped up. It helped during that time, but I use it nightly and daily along with sunscreen for day time use. I have dry, acne, sensitive skin. I will be a life-long user of this.
