Used to love, but the price hike?!?!?
I have been a big fan of this product for years but the price increase over the last few years is absolutely insane. I’m switching to a different product. I’m so disappointed in Elta MD. I also heard they changed the formula a while back.

Love this sunscreen brand
I have been using this brand of sunscreen for several years. I like the fact that I don't need to put moisturizer on first as this is a great moisturizer as well. I highly recommend this sunscreen. As a side note, the tinted sunscreen is great too on the days I would like a little extra color. My skin is fair and I haven't had a suntan in many years so I need a little color.

I've searched and tried multiple sunscreens in an effort to "wear" it without my eyes being irritated. The day I tried the EltaMd UV Daily 40spf, I found success. I can wear it all day without my eyes growing irritated by the end of the day. As a result, I'm on my second bottle and plan to order another as a spare. YAY!

I like the mineral Elta MD for when my skin is oily, but this one is my favorite for everyday use. It blends well with my fair skin and give me the confidence of great dermatologist recommended sun protection. It goes on smooth and doesn't feel heavy like a foundation makeup.

Moisturizer for sensitive skin!
My dermatologist recommended Elta Md because I had a precancerous lesion on my face. Most sunscreens cause a terrible rash on my face. This is the only product that doesn’t. I have dry skin also. I’ve been using it for years now and I haven’t had another lesion since!

Perfect daily sunscreen
This was originally recommended to me by my dermatologist and he did not steer me wrong! I love this spf formula for daily use over my moisturizer. It is non greasy and doesn’t make a white cast on my skin. If I use a rich tinted moisturizer without spf, I will use the EltaMD spf under it and it works great in that situation too.

Try it Tinted!
I've been using the EltaMD regular, non-tinted mineral based moisturizer with UPF for about a year and love it. A client shared with me that she won't use anything except the TINTED EltaMD so I decided to give a try. Wow. It is such a lightweight feeling that you don't realize how nice the tint is at smoothing out tone. So, it's three things: moisturizer, UPF protection, & a very light base.

Allergic Reaction
After using another well known tinted SPF I wanted to try Elta because it was half the price of my current product. I put it on 3x throughout the day, felt a bit warm and flushed at the end of the night after cleansing and moisturizing. Reapplied to run errands the next day. Face felt warm but wondered if I had maybe gotten a bit of sun the day before. By the next morning my face was red, hot, and swollen to my eyes. Dermatologist appt. later that day confirmed must be an allergy. No issues with professional sunscreens or products prior to this. Esthetician for 10+ years. I did like the consistency of the product, however, the coverage was not adequate for those looking to go foundation free with just a tinted SPF in my opinion.
