Nice feel but not long lasting
I purchased the Elta MD UV Lip Balm to have a sunscreen on my lips. It goes on smoothly but does not last long on my lips. Usually, I like Elta MD products, but, I don't think I'll buy this again.

Really useful item!
I first used this item years ago when I got it as part of a promotion. I have continued to use it for several reasons. First of all, the way this lip balm is packaged prevents problems with melting in heat during times I have been exercising outside in very warm weather. Second, the sunscreen is very water resistant- so great for swimming or very intense workouts. Third, it really hydrates my lips as well. I keep some in my purse or backpack at all times.

Another EltaMD holy grail for me! Does not leave white cast. Adds a bit of a subtle gloss if wearing alone or looks beautiful and adds some extra plump under lip gloss. Will always keep this in stock.

Best Sun Protection
I have been using the product for awhile as it was recommended by my dermatologist. It goes on easily and lasts through my tennis or golf game. You have to get used to using a squeeze tube but it doesn't melt like other lip balms.

Love Elta sunscreen- the best! The lip balm however, is not my favorite product. Not very moisturizing, a funny color and does not wear well under lipstick. Perhaps men would like it better, especially for sports.

This is one of the best lip sunscreen products I have tried. It does not have any harmful ingredients and like so many others, it does not dry out my lips. It does leave a white cast if applied too thick, so definitely needs to be thoroughly rubbed in to avoid this which is why I gave it 4 stars.

Weird taste, slight white cast
I bought this lip balm because I wanted a lip moisturizer with SPF, and since I already used a lot of EltaMD products, I thought this would be a good place to start. Overall, I'm very so-so about this product. It has a weird, chemical menthol taste. After I apply it, I can see a bit of a white cast on my lips, which doesn't look very nice. I've also noticed that I have some dry skin accumulating in the corners of my lips, which is unusual for me, and I wonder if it might be due to this product. Overall, I think it's drying out my lips. I don't plan to repurchase.
