Great sunscreen...
My dermatologist recommended EltaMD sunscreen 25 years ago. I have never used any other brand since ... And I never leave my house without putting on this sunscreen on my face. At 73 and as a resident of Florida, my fine lines and wrinkles are minimal. I attribute this to faithfully using ELTAMD sunscreen all these years. Lovely Skin has the best prices that I've found to date and they periodically run sales and I also get reward points that I use for other products I purchase from them.

Best Facial Sunscreen Out There

Elta MD VU Physical Broad Spectrum SPF41
This sunscreen was recommended by my dermatologist. It is great and has a little color to it. I find I don't have to wear foundation. Doctor says it is so good that it won't run into your eyes and you can even use it on your eyelids. Grandkids don't seem to mind it as much as others that are too thick to smooth on.

My Husband Loves This Sunscreen

My favorite So far
I’ve bought the Broad Spectrum 46 spf tinted and was relieved to finally find a sun block I like very much. I just bought and tried the Physical mineral Lightly Tinted 41 spf and I love it. 3 ounces of a soft cream in a tube and it’s tinted enough to have some coverage. I feel like it’s almost makeup. It’s matte, I can’t feel it, makes my skin look good and protects. It’s everything I’m looking for. I’m not looking or trying any more sun blocks.

Nice matte finish
I like the tint on this sunscreen, for reference I have fair skin. Most sunscreens are too dark for me or leave me looking orange. This is a natural finish on my ski. I have oily skin and most sunscreens look to greasy on me, this gives me a nice matte finish, which I like.

My Go-To Daily Sunscreen
Sensitive, Combination Skin with Type 2 Rosacea - Between 1 and 2 on the Fitzpatrick Scale UV Physical was recommended to me by my Dermatologist a couple of years ago and I have used it daily since. It has a light, almost whipped texture and just enough coverage to even out skin tone without looking heavy. In fact, my husband is able to wear it as well and does not feel it has a makeup look to it. I rarely wear foundation these days because I find the coverage of the UV Physical to be enough. I just conceal my undereyes and small spots as needed. One word of caution, the all mineral formula can be drying for me so I use a separate moisturizer underneath and and have no issues with pilling. My husband does not feel the need to use a separate moisturizer and has no issues with dryness.

I buy this over and over again
I really like this sunscreen for its texture and its tint. It's very creamy and blends into the skin well, but the tint is the big thing for me. Every other tinted sunscreen I have tried is too tan, even though I have a light pigmented complexion. I started using this when I stopped using foundation during the pandemic and have not gone back. My complexion has never been better. I actually layer it over another favorite sunscreen which is clear and is SPF 50. I want that SPF level (I live in SoCal) but also like the way the tinted sunscreen blends in and evens out my complexion.

Fave was discontinued
I’ve tried three different eltamd tinted sunscreens since my favorite was discontinued (uv elements spf 44). This is the only one in which the tint was not too yellow or too dark. It goes on well over moisturizer and blends in almost as well as the discontinued product.
