It’s December and my facial skin is not dry!
This sunscreen goes on smoothly and does not pill. It keeps my skin hydrated and safe from the UV rays!

Amazing sunscreen
So far I’m liking this sunscreen, I am a big fan of EltaMD. I was expecting a heavy white cast on this one, but surprisingly is not that bad! It does leave a white cast (I do apply a 1/4 of tsp)but it is very minimal on my skin tone. I do have dry sensitive skin and for me it is moisturizing not heavy and blends really nice on the skin. For reference I did use UV replenish before and I like this one better in terms of the cast and the feeling. It is on the dewy/shiny side. Overall a nice everyday indoor sunscreen.

Great choice
I have been using Elta MD products for about two years but I had not used the "restore" product. I have just started using it so don't have long-term input but at this point, it feels much like the other Elta MD products, just a little thicker but still not greasy. It absorbs well into the skin and feels great on your skin. I use it daily without makeup unless I am wanting more coverage! Great product!

EltaMD UVRestore SPF40
I am not very impressed with this product. It takes several pumps to cover your face. It is thick and has a greasy texture that doesn’t absorb as well as original Elta MD sunscreen. It’s too soon to tell if it fades dark spots. I will not repurchase this.

Not the typical sunscreen!
I love this new EltaMD product. The product is smooth and does not leave a sunscreen film on the skin. With the tint, it is the perfect sunscreen product!

Very good
Great consistency and coverage. Doesn’t dry me out. Knocking off a star since the tinted version comes off slightly orange on my fair skin. Hoping EltaMD can work on the tint color.

Great! But personally I prefer EltaMD UV Clear SPF 46
It was great, but I think I personally prefer the Elta MD UV Clear SPF 46. This one felt a bit more creamy for me compared to the other product. But this is just my preference, as I like a bit more watery texture.

Love This!
I've been using the elta MD UV Clear product for years. However, I realized it did not contain the titanium which I was told really important for complete coverage. I then saw this new product release announcing it included both zinc and titanium! Also, most important was the product claim you wouldn't be left with a white zinc layer all over you, which I appreciate. I purchased it and love it! It is moisturizing, has good coverage and does not leave me feeling oily. Best part other than the sunscreen benefits, no white film!

Still prefer EltaMD Daily
For years, I used EltaMD Clear sunscreen but, as I've gotten older, my skin is starting to get a bit drier and the Clear seemed to be a bit too drying for my skin. I switched over to the Daily sunscreen and have been really happy with it but wished EltaMD would produce something like the Daily sunscreen but without the chemical sunscreen. I was really excited about this new launch of an all-mineral sunscreen but it hasn't worked out that well for me. I find it to be even more drying than the Clear and it actually stings a bit when I apply it despite the fact there are no chemical sunscreens in this, so I suspect there must be another ingredient in it that causes the stinging sensation. I think I'll be sticking with my EltaMD Daily for now.

EltaMD not a fav
I have been using Elta sunscreen for so man years. I was excited to hear about a new product. I am not a fan of the new product. First, I do not like the way it comes out. It is not continuous. Also, it is very thick and it just does not go on smooth. Sorry, very disappointed.

AMAZING
I’ve always been a huge fan of EltaMD and as an aesthetician i recommend it for all my clients. I was addicted to UV Elements until I tried UV Restore... it makes my skin glow and keeps my dry skin hydrated all day! ! Don’t hesitate, this is an awesome product

The Best!
Gone are the days of the chalky, ghostly looks post-sunscreen application! It also is a great under makeup primer!

NOT LIKE Other Elta MD Sunscreens!
I have been using EltaMD Sunscreens for many years. My dermatologists not only recommend this brand, but have EltaMD products available for purchase in their office. This EltaMD UV Restore Broad Spectrum SPF 40 is NOT LIKE any other Elta MD, I DO NOT RECOMMEND this Sunscreen! It is white, thick and very drying. My skin actually felt rough after using, so I returned it. I DO RECOMMEND OTHER Elta MD Sunscreen products. I like that they use zinc & titanium minerals. My favorite is Elta MD UV Elements Broad Spectrum SPF 44 Tinted. It's GREAT goes on easily and with it, I don't need to wear foundation!

Good sun block for tennis
I love Elta MD sun products and this is a new one for me to try. It does leave more of a white cast to my face than I like but the coverage is even and does not easily rub off or sweat off. The pump on the tube is not very efficient. I prefer a tube that delivers the product in one or two squeezes or pumps. It can take me five or six to get enough just for my face.

EltaMD UV Restore Broad-Spectrum SPF 40
What a disappointment! White, thick, chalky paste that is so obvious during the day. Absolute adore Elta MD 41 and Elta MD UV Elements.

Overall Best Tinted Sunscreen I've tried
This is lightweight, a very light coverage, but it has staying power. I've been using tinted sunscreens for a while, but this one feels more like a moisturizer, and definitely saved my face ravages of the sun!

So far so good!
Love Elta love this one! So far so good it’s hydrating silky dewy and redness calming for sure. The only reason I gave it three stars is It’s too soon to tell if it helps hyperpigmentation but I would buy it again for the glow it seems to give!

I like the dispenser, the smoothness of Restore and the high zinc oxide content.

Good product
I’ve been using the Elta Md 44 and decided to try the 40. It’s a very nice product but I like the 44 better because I like the Matt no shine look. The 44 goes on smooth and does look good on the skin. No breakouts and beautiful tint color.

Oily medium olive skin tone
I actually really like this. I tried the tinted but even with a medium skin tone it just looks a little red/orange, maybe just my skin but it didn’t look good so I tried the untinited. I really like the untinted, only a slight cast but easily covered with a little powder. My skin feels plump not oily. Works great under makeup.
