Love this in summer
I love the tinted version of this…blends in well but still has very good coverage. It provides a matte finish so never looks greasy. I use it for foundation…quick and easy. I use the untinted for neck and chest and hands…places where I have more sun damage, and they do look better after using it for a few months. I love EltaMD…you really can’t go wrong with their products.

My favorite ELtaMD sunscreen!
I’ve used several different kinds of EltaMD sunscreens over the years - this new one is my absolute favorite. It absorbs easily with no cast or residue and has a lovely finish. It’s the “lightest” feeling mineral sunscreen I’ve tried. Highly recommend.

Great tinted sunscreen
I normally use the EltaMD Clear sunscreen, but after getting a sample of this and liking it, I decided to buy the full size. It's a great tint for my medium skin tone and the consistency is a little thicker than the EltaMD Clear, making it perfect for those days when I don't want to wear foundation. It works well with my combination skin type. Love it.

Such a nice Sunscreen!
This is such a nice sunscreen that you don't even need foundation. It truly glides on like a cream. I used to use EltaMD 44 tinted but this one is creamier. I just love it!!

I'm obsessed with skincare. I habitually use sunscreen, prescription retinoids, and Botox every 2.5 months. This is perfect for my morning moisturizer. I use the tinted. It occasionally leaves a shiny area, but always balances moisturize levels and evens my complexion just enough that I use no concealer undereye and only on obvious breakouts. This is my complete daytime skincare in one step. At night I use Revision DEJ Eye Cream and a prescription retinoid followed by a bland moisturizer. People tell me I appear 29 - let's see if I can keep that until I'm 40. Here's to trying...

My Favorite Sunscreen So Far
I received this as a sample and liked it so much, I ordered it. I have sensitive skin and melasma so I need to use strong sun protection. I found this to be great for light coverage, not greasy, and not acne-causing. I like all the EltaMD products but this is my favorite.

Really love the texture and tint of this sunscreen. I did find it was a bit drying after wearing it all day. I usually have this issue with mineral sunscreens. However, this one didn’t seem to dry me out as much as other mineral sunscreens I’ve tried.

Mineral Suncreen for People of Color!
As a person of color, I always have trouble finding a mineral sunscreen that rubs in properly. This one is perfect for people of color! It is a bit pricey, but sunscreen really is the place to invest in terms of long term skincare. I have discoloration in my skin, so I chose to buy this one. Not really sure if it has helped with the discoloration, but it is a good mineral sunscreen for people color.

(40 years old, fair skin, dog walker- in the southern Ca sun all day). I’ve been using the EltaMD UV Clear for years...that stuff is perfect. I use it on my face, neck, chest and shoulders. Tried this new sunscreen because it includes some other anti-aging components. It works great, but in comparison- it goes on with that white sunscreen sheen and is a little more thick to spread on than the UV Clear (that’s why I docked a star). If you can get past that, it’s a great sunscreen! Doesn’t cause me to break out. As far as the additional anti-aging stuff... who knows right?...kind of just have to trust them.

Almost perfect
I love the feel of Elta MD UV Restore on my face, maybe a little too dewy but it’s bearable. The only bad thing is that it leaves too much of a white cast. I combined it with a tinted sunscreen and it really blends well. I think next time I will just get the tinted one.

Not for me!
I was expecting this to be similar, or better than, the EltaMD UV Elements Broad-Spectrum SPF 44 Tinted facial sunscreen that I had been using faithfully for years. It seemed to offer better benefits to aging skin. But oh no. This stuff is sticky, tacky, does not blend, makes your hand cramp up after you finally get it rubbed all the way in, and the tint is much more orange-y. Not only that, but I'm pretty sure this is the product that caused my eyelids/nose/sides of mouth to flake BADLY (I only apply sunscreen to my eyelids, nothing else). This was the only product I had introduced into my routine. I'm going to try and return it, if possible, or at least exchange it for the tried and true UV Elements SPF 44 Tinted. Wish me luck!
