Over the past several years, my entire family has used EltaMD products. Originally recommended by my dermatologist, Elta MD has proven to be our go-to sunscreen company. The EltaMD UV Sheer is great for me because it goes on easily, is unnoticeable, leaves no color or film on my skin or clothes. It is a strong, effective sunscreen, which I need as my skin is very sun sensitive. I like the water resistant quality because I swim a lot. I have used all forms of Elta MD for years. Have had to step up the SPF for my face and decided to try the UV Sheer SPF 50 as I was recently diagnosed with skin cancer on my nose. It is sheer, it does have a very slight sun screen smell compared to some of their other products, but it immediately blends in and the smell dissipates.
