Perfect, all-purpose blender
I first discovered the jane iredale flocked blender at a dermatology office in Dallas where I was treated for eczema. Several years later, this is still my favorite and the only blender I use. I use little makeup, no foundation and apply my makeup very lightly. This blender is so soft and gentle, provides even coverage, is very easy to clean and lasts a long time before it has to be replaced. Give this excellent blender a try! I love this little sponge. I use it to blend cream blush after spraying a little Pommist on it. This works very well after I have put on my JI pressed mineral powder (on top of her Primer). I use less of the cream blush than using my fingers or a blush brush, and it looks very natural. I clean it daily and it lasts a fairly long time!

I wanted to like this sponge but unfortunately I cannot give it more than 2 stars - and that’s for softness. Nothing beats blending with fingers or s professional brush. Just my opinion though as I’m sure others love this little thing!

Great makeup/powder sponge
I’ve been using a sponge for so many years instead of a brush to apply the pressed Jane Iredale powder. Sponge provides better coverage than the average powder brush. The press powder goes on smoothly with the sponge and even my daughter uses it with her powder. It gives the face a more matte finish. I love it and give it five stars all around. It doesn’t fall apart either when you wash it with hot water and soap. Great addition to my cosmetic collection.
