Goes on smooth. Has a nice sheen. I use it by itself, or under or over chapstick. I have the 'flirt' tinted one. Darker shades make my lips look thinner so this shade is perfect for me. I've also had the un-tinted a number of times.

I love my lip balm! And I’m a balm snob. It’s the perfect color for me. Its texture is smooth and light not greasy. It has sun protection as well which I love; I never buy a lip balm that doesn’t have it. I do think the price was ridiculous for something a little bigger than chap stick.. As much as I love it, I won’t buy again unless I have a discount.

This product hydrates well, keeps lips soft as well as having a SPF of 15. Would be nice if there was a larger variety of colors and if they would be a little deeper in shades. Needs to be reapplied often so carry w/ you.

Lip stick with SPF
I coat myself in a different brand's SPF for the body and use a foundation with SPF 40. This is my last step for my lips. I appreciate that Jane iredale doesn't use chemical sunscreen.

I have now tried two shades- "Flirt" (very pale peachy pink) and "Pout" (supposed to be shimmery pale pink but looks clear on me) of jane iredale LipDrink Lip Balm SPF 15. This product seems to be a good basic lip balm and nice it contains non-chemical sunscreen (although would be nice to have a little zinc in there too for greater SPF coverage). Overall though I love, and am purchasing some as gifts as great for travel as well as everyday.
