Very disappointing! I really don’t know why the brand reformulated such a great product to a mediocre product. The former formula, colors and brush were so beautiful and perfect. Please bring the original product back!

Very disappointing!
The Brush is so small it is barely there. I have used the jane iredale PureBrow gel clear for many years. This is a joke. I truly cannot understand why the change was made. Very Disappointing to say the least.

Not worth the price
I was so sad when Jane Iredale discontinued their former brow gel. It came in a larger tube, worked beautifully, and lasted 2-3 months used daily before running out or drying out. The new brow gel is a big disappointment. The tube is tiny and the formula started to dry out and flake after only a few weeks. Not worth $26!

Pleasently surprised!
I've been using a different brow gel for years, and over time as my brows are coming in silver, the shade's become too dark. I have sensitive skin and have been exploring Jane Iredale makeup, and came across this product when ordering face powder. I did my best with color matching, got it right on the first try, and I'm so pleased that the meduim brown shade provides great coverage and a natural look!

Great for sensitive skin, eyebrow gel
Just about anything I use on my forehead makes me itch, and I can no longer use waxy eyebrow pencils for definition. So I am happy to report that I can use this lovely eyebrow gel -- with no problems. The product gives very natural results, which is another bonus, and is very easy to use. Big improvement in the brush
I've used this product for years and liked it, but I really appreciate the new smaller application brush. It makes it much easier to precisely apply the brow gel. The Auburn color also seems a little bit darker (it's still great for redheads) and looks more natural.

Hard to apply
Like many others, I cannot use the applicator to work for me. It puts out way too much product and is a heavy application that doesn’t look natural. I found that putting a little onto a spooly brush works better, but that’s extra work as I must also clean the spooly after each application. The brow gel itself is good and does control unruly brows as well as deposit color onto them. I have high hopes for the newer version of this product.

Doesn't work for me
For this brow gel, I think there's nothing wrong with the gel itself or the color I selected, it's the applicator that doesn't work for me. The brush is too long, completely straight, and on the thicker side. I can't find a way to apply the gel that doesn't make a mess of my eyebrows, which are gray, thinning, and do not extend as far toward the outer edge of my eye as they used to. I need a shorter and slightly curved applicator. I am a huge fan of Jane Iredale products; this one just does not make the cut for me.

Very light and not much holding power
I purchased the clear version of the eyebrow gel and found it to be a very light gel that didn’t have much holding power. It didn’t really do much for my eyebrows and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it for full brows. I probably won’t buy again.
