Nothing Special
Not sure what everyone is raving about here?!? Nothing special in my opinion. I have sensitive skin and I agree that it is not irritating, but it didn't do much for the dryness of my skin and seemed a bit too heavy for me. Won't be purchasing this again.

Moisturizing, Healing
This product is good if you have irritation and need a product that is somewhere between a thicker moisturizer and an ointment. The price is right as well. It doesn’t work well though during the day under zinc sunscreen so I just use at night.

Skin savior!
This is a great product when your skin is experiencing redness and irritation. I used this when my dermatologist increased my tretinoin dose prescription. I apply this balm around my eyes, mouth and sides of my nose. This was a life saver during the adjustment period. Highly recommended!

Great for dry skin
I just started a tretinoin regimen and live in Colorado (dry winter skin is bad enough before you add in a product like tretinoin!). I use this when my skin starts to get flaky. Gentle, no burning - does go on pretty thick and you have to spend some time rubbing it in.

Everyone needs this sometimes
This was provided to me by my dermatologist’s office (after a microneedling w/prp session for face & neck) to use exclusively while healing for next few days. It is amazingly soothing on skin and has antibacterial properties as well. I am 50 & recently diagnosed with mild rosacea. I thought it was acne (Geeze, at my age?!) Turns out the retinol, glycolic acid, & vitamin c for anti-aging, with a dash of salicylic acid, was completely freaking out my skin. Duh. Four weeks after microneedling, my skin is healed and was noticeably clear. I’ve been using his product daily. I honestly think this is working for me. Even if you’re not old, or sensitive, I think this would be a good thing to have around to gently heal after a bit of irritation, product overload, at home peels, or when you’re skin just needs a break for the night.

Thick Soothing Cream
I originally purchased this product to use at nighttime on nights when my skin felt super dry. It is very soothing and easy to apply, but I found that it really wasn’t as moisturizing for me as I’d hoped. I will definitely use for irritation as necessary, but apply something more emollient with it.

Best for barrier repair!
As someone who uses prescription tretinoin, I am always looking to help keep my skin soothed and as "chill" as possible. After letting my tretinoin soak in for 20 minutes, I apply my moisturizer and this on top. this has made such a difference with my skin retaining moisture and preventing irritation. Also a little goes a long way. LOVE!

Soothing for Sensitive Skin
This is a very thick, white cream. I use it sparingly on my arms where I have irritation from sitting at a desk, resting on my elbows and arms. It has worked better than prescription creams for me.

Excellent moisturizer
This is an excellent night time moisturizer for dry, irritated and sensitive skin. I use after Retin A micro when my skin is especially dry and flaky. No burning or stinging. Highly recommended.

Cicaplast Baume
I absolutely love this product! It is not only a good moisturizer - it is healing. The mornings after using this baume my skin is luminous. My only complaint is that I wish I could buy a larger tube!

Good moisturizer for night - a bit heavier
I purchased this and a Avene moisturizer to test. I recently started Retin-a and was worried about peeling. The La Roche Posay lotion is a bit thicker/creamier so I usually use this one on the nights I use Retin-A. I have oily/combination skin, and so far I have had zero peeling and very little irritation. I’ve been using Retin-A and this lotion for a month now.
