I saw a review of Cicaplast and decided to give my very dry hands a treat. Not only were my hands dry, but my fingernails were thin, and splitting. It is a magic cream. I put it on in the morning and bedtime. My hands are healed, and my nails and cuticles are better every day. I also use it on my face to heal dry spots ( I use retin A) Love it!!

Think thick, white, creamy lotion, that gives a bit of a sheen. It's SO moisturizing and wonderful following my tretinoin. It's not greasy, but may feel that way at first, but absorbs quickly. I love LaRoche and love that this is fragrance free, since I have an allergy. I recommend this highly and will buy again!

Moisturizing, but not special
I don't know what this is supposed to do. It's not particularly effective compared to other products when my skin barrier is damaged. I gave it 3 stars for being a decent moisturizer, but I wouldn't choose this if I needed extra help with skin irritation or a damaged barrier.

Since I started using this cream on the nights after I apply retinol, it has prevented the redness and excessive dryness that is sometimes triggered by retinol especially during the winter months. It’s a good all-around cream to have around if you get dry, irritated skin in the winter. Very good value.

Fantastic Moisturizer
