The product is kind of pricey IMO, however I have to say this cream is so soft and light that it moisturizes my face without causing breakouts and no shine. I put this on after applying skin treatments. Smells good too’

I love this cream for night time use. My skin breaks out easily and some of the heavier creams cause irritation. However, I'm in my mid-40's and need extra moisture. I have found this to be a great product for use at night. I wake up with my skin feeling and looking refreshed!

Not enough hydration
This product doesn't provide adequate moisturizing for my mature, dry skin. I've gone through 2 jars of it and while it does hydrate to a degree, its benefits don't seem to endure throughout the day. In addition, it leaves a tacky surface that is not friendly to any of my foundations. I have difficulty blending them, and they tend to pill up over this product. At the end of the day, my skin is drier than the Sahara.

Emollient without being greasy. Less than 1/3 tsp is enough to cover the face, so it lasts longer than most night moisturizers. Obagi Hydrate Luxe is the only facial treatment I use at night, after I wash my face.

This is my new go-to moisturizer when my skin needs a little extra: cold weather, biking in the wind, post exfoliation. I did not find it heavy, and it absorbed rather quickly for a cream vs a lotion moisturizer. I use it every other night/every night to areas that need a little extra. I've used ELASTIderm eye cream for years with great results on my 64 year old, sun damaged skin, and am pleased I decided to try Hydrate Luxe.

A bit too heavy for me.
I have somewhat dry skin. I like to use a heavier moisturizer at night, but this was too heavy for me. It is very very thick and did not soak into my skin well. It does moisturize nicely, but it makes make face sticky which is uncomfortable at night because it makes mu face stick to the pillowcase. My husband has very dry skin, and he loves it.
