Attended a med-spa opening in a highly-regarded, long time plastic surgery office. I like the moisturizer when I first apply it in the evening; however, when I wake up, my skin feels dry. I am in my mid 50s and need something during the winter to add a bit of suppleness… not sure this is what I need. I’ll finish the product and see the longer term effects of “renewal” but not sure if I’ll repurchase.

Not what I was looking for
I recently purchased Obagi Hydrate Luxe to use as a night cream. I will use it since I bought it, but will not repurchase it. It is extremely thick and feels heavy on my skin. Perhaps if you are looking for a cream to put it over retin A at night, it might work, but I prefer the products of a different brand.

I was hoping to find something similar to a different cream. This cream is so heavy and feels like it just sits on top of your skin. It also smells terrible, I’m not sure what they were going for but it reminds me of bamboo. I’m on the hunt for something else.

I have been looking for an effective moisturizer to use at night after applying Retin A to help with peeling. I have tried many, & find this to be the most effective so far. The only negative is that it goes on heavy, but absorbs pretty quickly. I will continue to use it.
