Almost as good as Hydroquinone
I tried this because I'm pregnant and know that it's not good to use Hydroquinone when pregnant. I think it works as well but I haven't been able to use it long enough to get the total effects. Either way, I know that Obagi products are amazing and my skin is so much more beautiful than it was before I started using it.

I highly, highly recommend step 3 of the obagi. This is not a gimmick product! This cream actually works, if you use it consistently and only takes about a month-month and a half to see the results. If you do use it every day as your routine, you will notice a huge difference in you skin complexion. Any redness or spots are gone from my face. It really does work...but the key is you have to actually use it!!!

Extreme Bad Reaction
When I ordered, the hydroquinone ingredient was still available, and I asked for that one because I had used it for years. So when I received the product, I didn't notice that I was sent the one with the new ingredients. After using it one time, my face looks like a disaster! Spots, rash, blotchiness, burning. Feels and looks like I got a terrible sunburn. I can't keep enough moisturizer on it to keep from hurting. That's when I looked at the bottle and discovered I was sent the new ingredient list bottle. Wish I could find the receipt. You would hear from me directly, instead of through a review!! Never again!

My Choice!!
started using Obagi many years ago. I started with the sample kit with cleanser toner clear etc. absolutely love all of their products. I had fine lines and dry blotchy skin, however, after using the clear I think for about a month or so the dark spots diminished and stayed gone. Everyone commented on how nice my skin was and asked what I used. unfortunate for me I stopped using Obagi and all the dark spots and much more have returned. Cannot beat this clear for the price and effects.

My skin looks radiant
I started using this product two months ago for some hyperpigmentation around my eyes that was a result of a laser treatment. I can tell you right now, for something like that, this product isn't the answer. Instead I callled up my amazing med spa practitioner and she zapped those spots with IPL and they were gone. But here I was with this tube of Obagi so I used it every morning over my whole face under my sunscreen, sometimes with another product layered between the two. After two months my skin started to glow. My pores look really clean and smooth and some of the patchy pigmentation on the sides of my face (from driving) are much less noticeable. My forehead also looks much more clear. I tried using it at night, alone, and my skin got too dried out. Keep it away from the sides of your nose to avoid peeling there. I really do not believe that any product can remove hyperpigmentation as effectively as an IPL. For age spots you will need to get those frozen off. Dont expect this product to work miracles. But. If you are like me and you want an effective product to add in to your regime that actually improves the look of your skin for real, try this. Just give it some time. And wear that sunscreen!! I finally found a great product that removes sun spots. Ive spent so much money trying all kinds of different products. I read many of the positive reviews and decided to give this a try and am so happy with the results. I have only used it for about three weeks and most of the lighter spots are almost gone the darker ones are fading, but I can tell that these will disappear or hardly resemble what they looked like when I started. My skin looks so much better with the results that I have received so far. Its kind of expensive, even more so with the sales restrictions of only 15%, but it is well worth the price!
