Too strong if you have normal to dry skin
I purchased this product because I use the regular Exfoderm with great results. I assumed the Exfoderm Forte might be better since it sounded like this product was stronger than regular Exfoderm. Big mistake! I have sensitive normal to dry skin and this product made my face burn/sting for up to 5-6 hours. My face would hurt all day once I applied it. I even stopped the product then tried it again a few weeks later just to see if maybe now I could use it. Nope!! Every time I out it on my face actually hurts for many hours until I wash it off. I will stick with regular Exfoderm, that works like magic for me with no pain.

Greasy
If you have very dry skin, this may work for you. It is advertised for oily skin but it is way too heavy and greasy. The emu oil is too much for my skin. If it were oil-free, I think this would be perfect as it does give a glow. The oil in it makes my makeup slip everywhere and trying to use it at night still feels gross. Pass.

Too much for my sensitive skin- though I know it works for many
I was really excited to use this product as I thought it would bring quicker results with the higher amount of exfoliating ingredients, but unfortunately it was too irritating for my skin and even emphasized some of my hyperpigmentation with the irritation. I probably shouldnt have tried to be so aggressive given I have sensitive skin.

Product can case flaking
This is a great product if you have oily or combination skin, but if your skin is dry like mine and you use the other combination of Obagi products like #3 Clear and #5 Blender then this item (#4) might make your skin dry and flaky. I also use the tretinoin which exfoliates the skin, so the combination might be too much. I would normally not comment on something so matter-of-fact but my Dr. said the exact same thing about this product so there must be some truth to it. If you dont use tretinoin, this product might be just what you need in your Obagi regiment.
