Definitely makes a difference!
I'm 57 and try a lot of different products to keep my skin healthy-looking. I tend to switch products often because I don't see results quickly enough, or at all. I've been using this cream every other night for a month or so. And I just realized that I can actually see a difference - my skin is smoother and my complexion is a lot more even. I will definitely keep using it! A word of warning: don't apply it too close to your eyes. I did this initially (trying to fight crows feet) and it really dried out my eye area. And make sure to use a good nighttime moisturizer on top of it.

As great as La Roche-Posay retinol
I used both this Obagi and La Roche-Posay retinol. Obagi's packaging is easier to use but the La Roche-Posay retinol's price is more reasonable.

So Far, So Good
I’ve always been sensitive to retinol so am ramping up slowly. Previously, I’ve been using the .5 strength with great results so thought it was time to ramp up. I am doing this one every other night & plan to do so for the next month or so. So far, so good. I will be 65 this year & most people think I’m in my early 50’s. I attribute much of that to the products that I’m using.

Sensitive skin
I’ve been using this a little under a month, so I can’t speak to results yet but can say that I’m surprised with how sensitive my rosacea skin is, that I haven’t had a reaction. I’m extremely excited to see what this product does. For the first couple of days areas around my eyebrows and nose were peeling which is to be expected. It does not burn it does not irritate it does not smell bad.

I have been using Obagi products for decades. I do like this retinol cream. I have not had any problems with irritation. I will say, I have been using retinol for a long time, so if you are a first time user, I recommend starting with the less concentrated creams first. I mix this with the Blend, or even a light moisturizer, and apply at night only. Love Obagi!

If you aren't used to retinol, maybe try something a little more diluted - but if your skin is prepared for a little more intensity, this will do the trick. Use a moisturizer over it though - it is a bit drying, which is unavoidable with retinol.
