I have tried less expensive retinol products and it was a complete waste of money. This has been a wonderful addition to my skin care regimen. I have seen such a difference. I have only used this for about a month, but I like it so far. All the other reviews are true. Only use it a couple times a week until your skin gets used to it. Mine got very dried out and flaky when I tried to use it more than that. I have tried other retinol creams. This one seems to be the strongest I have tried.

I started off using the 0.5 Retinol, as I have sensitive skin. I used it for over a year and finally transitioned to the 1.0 Retinol! I use this to spot treat darker areas, as using it on my full face caused some skin sensitivity. Love this product but I will have to go back down to 0.5 strength for my skin type!
