My go-to Mattifying Gel
I'm a male with sensitive and greasy skin. I'm very wary when it comes to facial beauty products as I sometimes get a reaction in acne. I gave this a try and have never looked back. I've been using OC8 for the past 2 years now. For me, at least, it hasn't caused my face to breakout. I wear it over my daily moisturizer-- I only need just over a pea size to get the job done. Greasy t-zone is non existent for a good portion of the day. Just reapply for continued coverage. If you do layer it--it can come off looking like you're wearing a tad of foundation as OC8 assists with some uneven skin tone. HIGHLY recommended product!

Had been so hopeful

Highly recommend for oily skin
I’ve struggled with oily skin for as long as I can remember.... An hour after showering and moisturizing, I look like I need to wash my face again! My dermatologist recommended this product and I’ll be using it for the rest of my life!!! I apply it after my moisturizer settles and before makeup. Only downside of this product is if you apply too soon, it cakes up. I’m shine free for hours!

Good for oily skin
As a person with oily/acne prone skin I am always on the look out for something to mattify my skin without making my skin look dry. I always apply a tiny amount of this product after my routine in the morning, which is after all moisturisers/sunscreens but before makeup (leaving a few minutes for it to sink in before MU application). It dries matte on my skin without making me look dry or without any tight feeling. With or without applying my mineral foundation I find I am less oily throughout the whole day, however, I find it doesn't last the full eight hours on me but it is pretty close and nothing a quick tpuch up doesn't fix. If you want you can also apply this product ontop of makeup. I find this product a great primer and I am about to purchase my second tube, wouldn't be without it. I like the packaging, a simple white (toothpaste) tube. Product is easy to get out even at the end.

Matte look doesn't last long
I feel like the mattifying gel didn't do what I had hoped for. As soon as I applied it, my skin was matte and then throughout the day, my face would become super oily. Even after maybe 20 minutes after application, my skin felt like there was a sticky film on my face, then, I would look in the mirror and it would look glossy as the day light hit my face where I applied the gel. I personally don't use it anymore, and now, I'm still stuck with a full tube of the stuff.
